These are great ideas for incorporating storytelling. I especially like the puppet idea and I know this is something I would use if I were still teaching. It is a great way for students to hone their oral language skills, understand how dialogue works and how it moves a story along, and students are not under pressure because 20+ others are listening to them.
It sure is! Plus, it’s really fun to watch them roll their pride up into a ball, stick it into their back pockets (sometimes reluctantly), and just let themselves go!
